This magazine has an open submission policy. Submissions need not relate to a particular topic or issue so long as they are generally related to the theme of the magazine. In addition to journalistic articles the magazine will accept for consideration works of fiction, art, poetry, photos, and other media. Submissions are voluntary and therefore will not be compensated. The editorial board may decline to publish any submission and reserves full right to exercise editorial oversight. The editorial board may save submissions for publication in future issues. To avoid confusion, please know that the editorial board may edit, shorten, or revise written submissions, with the exception of poetry. It is our policy that each author/artist retain the copyright to his or her work. However, Collective Vocies retains the rights to the publication and distribution of that work in web media and in other media without exception. The copyright for collective works shall be retained by Collective Voices. These rights are not exclusive. When submitting material please include captions and any relevant names or titles. The absence of this information indicates agreement by the submitter to publication without credit. Contests are subject to these same rules.
